Time Limit for Reporting GST Invoices on IRP Portal - GSTN Advisory

The Goods and Services Tax Network has published an advisory regarding the deadline for reporting GST invoices on the IRP Portal. The government has decided to set a time limit on submitting old invoices on e-invoice IRP portal.

The taxpayers will not be able to report invoices that are more than 7 days old on the date of reporting.

Currently, only those taxpayers with an Annual Aggregate Turnover (AATO)  greater than or equal to Rs. 100 crores are covered by this advisory.

In addition, the document type invoice only is considered by this advisory and hence no time limit is fixed for document types which are debit/credit notes.

Effective from 1st May, 2023.
