On 30th January 2023, LIC disclosed its entire exposure to the Adani group of Companies.
The LIC’s total Assets Under Management (AUM) as of 30th September 2022 were Rs. 41.66 Lakh Crores.
The total value of investments in Adani shares is about Rs. 36,000 Crores.
The market value of this investment is more than Rs. 56,000 crores now.
The total exposure of LIC in the Adani group is less than 1% of its AUM.
